Jenna has been instrumental in keeping the wheels on the bus in our household after the birth of our firstborn. She stepped in and provided much needed support almost immediately, meal prepping delicious lunches/dinners and giving us helpful suggestions and best practice tips on pretty much everything from nap time schedules to feeding techniques. We were learning on-the-go and Jenna bridged a lot of what we had read in parenting books + blogs and helped framed it to our unique situation. We found the post-visit notes especially helpful and incredibly personalized. The notes also provided helpful milestones and pivot points to look out for, which made it waaaaay less stressful when things did pop up (like the time our son regressed to waking up multiple times in the night!). I would absolutely recommend Jenna if you're needing help navigating those first few critical months... and beyond. She is AMAZING!

Whenever Jenna stepped foot into our house, she would bring with her an amazing calm and grounded energy that would saturate our entire home. That was the first thing I noticed when she came in for a prenatal interview, and it was always the case, every time. We always felt so much more at ease when she was here with us. Jenna would typically come in and sit with us and see what was going on during that specific day or recent timeframe, and gently help us to figure out ways to understand and navigate the given situation. In the early days when there was so much mystery and uncertainty for us about this new life and lifestyle, she really listened closely and helped us to figure everything out. This included tips for nursing, sleeping, playtime, and even reminders to check in with ourselves to stay balanced by eating right and getting outside if possible. At the time Jenna was less than a year into her own period of motherhood, and was a wealth of knowledge and support for my partner. This is where her presence was appreciated most. She would step in and help care to our baby so that she could have some simple moments for herself by showering or getting out for a walk. Jenna has also been a wonderful connector of other families in our community here in the outer sunset. On some Saturdays she hosts a low-key family meet up at the park where we can meet other parents in the neighborhood. She even put us in touch with another family of hers who was seeking childcare, and we now share a nanny together. We could not be more grateful for our experience with Jenna, and we really miss her presence in our home. We love running into her and her beautiful family in the neighborhood. If you are looking for a post-partum doula, you should absolutely work with Jenna.

My family worked with Jenna the beginning of this year with our first. Jenna is so patient, kind and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to babies, their needs, their growth and their development. She made all of us feel so comfortable and helped us welcome our new person with such ease. She not only helped us navigate early development, but helped us join a new community of people. I would recommend Jenna to anyone looking for assistance in the early stages of babyhood. As well as anyone looking to acclimate to a new community. Thank you Jenna for all you did to help my little family!

Jenna made being a new parent so much better! I don't know how we would have been able to care for ourselves and our new little one to the level we did without her. It meant having delicious nutritious meals and snacks, showers more regularly :) and a neater house which put me at ease with all the visitors we had. All the while, amidst meal prep or rocking the baby to sleep, she was listening to our concerns or fears, helping us process the birth, helping us understand our daughter's current developmental stage and needs, and teaching us things that seemed daunting, like how to use a baby carrier! ;) Reflecting back on our time working with Jenna, I think it was the kind and natural way she passed on that knowledge or talked through concerns is what stays with me, it was such a gentle way of sharing that was expert at time when you are so fragile and concerned about doing something wrong. I highly recommend Jenna!
